Artist's Description
The moment just before emerging out of the ocean behind a wave. Texture and movement of the ocean are in full display. The wave passes creating a cylindrical tube with the power and surface texture creating an arch pushing the wave forward towards the beach.
About Daniel Politte
Based out of Southern California I have access to some of the most pristine coastlines in the United States. Chasing the morning and evening light along this stretch of beaches is my focus. Color and texture are the goal of my art as I tend to see the world differently than most. Life is a journey and thus so is art! My passion was bodyboarding so my journey started with a GoPro that I could mount to my board. A few years later, I was bit by the photog bug and really dug in. I upgraded my gear and found my stride processing the images I have been collecting. This collection of images are my absolute favorites.
